Hyundai MMA-160 Welder

The Hyundai MMA-160 is a lightweight and incredibly versatile single-phase ARC/MMA welder from Hyundai. Weighing in at just 6.0kg, the Hyundai MMA-160 is easy to carry thanks to its adjustable harness and lightweight pressed steel cabinet with powder coating for extra corrosion resistance. Accessories include electrode holder with 2 m cable, grounding clamp with 1.5 m cable, chipping hammer and wire brush, making the MMA-160 extremely cost effective.

The HYMMA-160 ARC welder has a stepless regulator for stepless control of the welding current with a low power supply for effective welding of thinner materials. The welding current (output current) of the HYMMA-160 can be regulated within the range of 10-160 Ampere, making the HYMMA-160 adjustable for welding different materials and thicknesses of steel. Beware of lower quality models by always checking the 'Duty Cycle'. Duty cycle is the amount of time, within a 10 minute period that the welder can be used, at a given output. For example, our 160A welder has a duty cycle of 35% when used on 160A output. This means that for every 10 minutes it cannot be used for three and a half minutes. Cheaper, lower quality welders claim a certain Amperage output, but may have a very low duty cycle at the output they claimed. Always check the duty cycle to make sure you get the best value for money.
